Realme X2 Pro phone review

Realme is stepping up its game with its latest offering, the Realme X2 Pro. With a starting price of Rs. 29,999, the Realme X2 Pro offers many of the features found in higher-priced mid-range flagships, which automatically boosts its value proposition. this is often often often often also the company's first ‘true' flagship offering and is that the primary time that Realme is venturing above the over-Rs. 20,000 price segment in India. So far, the company has earned a reputation for creating budget-friendly phones, but with the X2 Pro, can it convince its fanbase and new potential buyers to spend this much money for its top-end offering? We've been testing the X2 Pro for a couple of weeks, and it's now time to figure out if this premium smartphone has managed to tug it off.

Realme X2 Pro Summary

Realme has finally moved beyond the polycarbonate bodies we've seen so far on its phones, for an aluminium body with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back of the X2. The device is usually slightly slippery and thus the glass back attracts smudges easily. The earpiece also doubles as a second speaker for stereo sound, which can be a welcome feature.

The Realme X2 features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has slim borders around the display (including the lowest chin) and a relatively shallow notch. The Realme X2 Pro could even be slightly on the thicker side at 8.7mm but the curved back tries to catch abreast of this. it's also quite heavy at nearly 200g but the load is distributed well.

The X2 is available in multiple RAM and storage variants in India, all of which have the Snapdragon 855+ SoC onboard. The phone can accommodate two Nano-SIMs, and dual 4G VoLTE is supported. It ships with ColorOS 6.1, supported Android 9.

When it involves performance, the phone ran cool generally but the sides and back got quite warm when gaming and even with heavy camera usage. In videos with Dolby Atmos-encoded audio, the surround effect is somewhat perceptible. The X2 Pro features a 4000mAh battery, which was dependable. on the quality, we easily got a couple of days and a half runtime on one charge.

The Realme X2 Pro features an honest mixture of sensors at the rear, which includes a 64-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, 13-megapixel telephoto and a depth sensor. generally, image quality is really good during the day which we were pleased with low light pictures too.
